Save your scores

The tests start on the first click whether you have an account or not. An account is only how those scores leave this browser and show up on the next one, under a handle you pick.

A guest session is already a real id

The first time a finished attempt is submitted from a browser, the site creates a silent guest. That guest is a durable user, not a note in local storage, so attaching an email later keeps the same id and every attempt already tied to it.

There is no tray of “pending results” to claim, and no second table to reconcile. The upgrade is the claim.

Signing in to an email you already used elsewhere replaces the guest on this browser. Attempts this guest made stay on the guest; they do not jump onto the other account. Create from the guest if you want this sitting to follow you.

What the handle is for

Ladders need a name that is not an email. The handle is optional, public, and unique once folded to letters and digits, so “Ada_1” and “ada1” are the same claim.

Guests do not appear on ladders. A handle without an email is not offered, because a public list of anonymous ids is not a ladder.

Deleting the account later leaves the scores in the public charts and clears the link. The handle comes off the list. The percentile other people already saw does not move.

The tests never wait on this page

There is no login wall in front of a panel, a board or a passage. That is a product rule, not a courtesy. A visitor who arrived to take a test takes the test.

This page exists so the optional second step has a URL. Bookmark it if you want; closing it does not throw anything away that was already submitted.

Password reset is email, when the mailbox is wired. Until then, pick a password you will still know next month. Eight characters is the floor.

This is a measurement toy, not a medical or psychological test. No score here says anything about your health, attention or cognition, and it is not a screening tool of any kind.

Questions

Do I have to sign in before a test?
No. Sign-in is never a gate. You can take every test as a guest and attach an email afterwards.
Will my earlier attempts on this phone show up on my laptop?
Yes, if you create the account from this phone — or if you were already signed in here — and then sign in on the laptop. Logging into a different existing email from a guest sitting leaves the guest’s scores behind.
Is the handle shown on the public charts?
No. Charts are anonymous piles. The handle appears only on the ladders page, and only after you have registered.
