Some versions of this task subtract milliseconds, or lives, when a withhold is touched. That produces a number that is no longer a time. This site charts times, so a miss or a tap on NO is accuracy on the card and is kept out of the curve.

The left edge of the distribution is therefore people who were fast on GO, not people who never saw a NO. Those are different boasts and they must not share a bin.

Twenty-trial means are already smoother than a five-round simple test. The tail is still there: a wander in the middle of the block will drag one attempt rightward.

The sample will fill more slowly than simple reaction

Fewer people will finish twenty trials than will finish five greens. Until a mode has two hundred finished means, this page shows the count and not a shape.

Modes stay split. A thumb that rests on the glass is a different withhold from a finger that hovers over a mouse.

Abandoned blocks — closing the tab mid-run — are not recorded. A pile of partials would not be a distribution of GO times. The percentile offered beside a finished mean is taken only against other GO-time means in the same input mode.

The words this page refuses

Words about impulsivity and self-control sit one search away. They are not what a browser word measured. This page never dresses that gap as a finding. The note on this page is doing work, not filling space.

A high rate of taps on NO is a fact about that attempt. It is not a fact about a person, and it is not stored as its own series.

Compare your GO time to the simple-reaction page if you want; do not treat the gap as a clinical index.

Are taps on NO on this chart?
No. Only the mean of the GO words you hit is stored. The test prints accuracy next to that time; it is not a second series.
Why is the sample smaller than the simple-reaction one?
Because the block is longer and the test is newer. The two-hundred-attempt gate is the same number; it will just take longer to clear.
Does a low time here mean I have good self-control?
No. It means your GO words were fast on this page. Self-control is not a browser metric.
